Internet Allows Some Overseas Soldiers to Watch Children Graduate
5/19/2006

A May 18, 2006 article from The Associated Press reports that some U.S. soldiers, who are currently overseas, will have the opportunity - via the Internet - to watch their children graduate. Several high schools located near Fort Campbell, home of the Army's 101st Airborne Division, will broadcast graduation ceremonies using a streaming video service that has been provided to the base at no charge by XOS Technologies. The participating schools combined have more than 250 graduating seniors with parents on duty in Iraq.

The article is available at the MSNBC.com Web site.
