Data Shows that Majority of College Students Work While Enrolled
5/16/2006

According to an item posted at the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Web site on May 15, 2006, a recent issue brief from the American Council on Education (ACE) shows that more than three-fourths of undergraduate students work nearly 30 hours per week while enrolled in college. The likelihood that a student will work remains constant across all populations, regardless of factors such as age, gender, race, marital status or the type of college attended. The issue brief is based on data provided by the U.S. Department of Education's 2003-04 National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS).

The article is available at the NASFAA Web site.
