An April 21, 2006 article from The Associated Press reports that U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings will review how states report test scores that are required per the No Child Left Behind law. An earlier series from The Associated Press had indicated that, due to the wide range of minimum standards being set by various states, test scores for nearly 2 million children have not been included. The issue will be considered as state education plans undergo federal review, as well as with the law's renewal next year.
