Governor Proposes Tax Credit for Residents Enrolled in Illinois Colleges

In his 2006 State of the State address, Governor Rod Blagojevich proposed a $1,000 annual tax credit for freshmen and sophomores who live in Illinois and maintain a "B" average while attending a public or private college in Illinois.
