Tips for Parents Regarding Report Cards
1/10/2006

An article posted at the NBC5.com (Chicago) Web site provides helpful hints for parents regarding report cards. Whether grades are outstanding or less than hoped for, parents should discuss report cards and class performance with students. Parents are encouraged to be involved, either by going over homework assignments with their children or volunteering at the school. Students should be encouraged to perform well in school for its own merits, rather than merely to earn a cash reward or other gift. Positive steps taken throughout the academic year will likely be reflected on end-of-term report cards.

The article is available at the NBC5.com Web site.
