Decrease in National Average of Tuition Increases at State Colleges
10/5/2005

An October 4, 2005 article from USA Today reports that, on average, tuition increases at state colleges have decreased slightly. A recent survey, which included 67 public colleges representing all 50 states, showed a 7.1% median increase for in-state tuition (last year's median increase was 9.3%, and it was 12.5% the previous year). The article includes a listing of recent changes for in-state and out-of-state tuition at the colleges that participated in the survey.

The article is available at the USA Today Web site.
