Get the School Year Off to a Good Start
8/30/2005

Now that "back to school" is upon us, an article in the Parenting section of the MSNBC Web site passes on tips for a smoother transition between summer and school days. Some of the suggested tactics include implementing an earlier bedtime before school actually starts, sorting out "night before" vs. "morning of" rituals, and discussing grade and behavioral expectations that will be in place during the school year. A four-part strategy for a successful win on the homework battlefield is also offered.

Read the entire article on the MSNBC Web site to learn more about easing the transition.
