A July 27, 2005 article from the Daily Herald (Chicago suburbs) reports on a series of public forums being held by the Illinois Education Excellence Task Force. The first meeting took place this week at Northern Illinois University's Naperville campus, and future meetings will be held in August (Chicago) and September (downstate). During these public forums, the task force hopes to gain insight from education administrators, businesses and the community regarding ways to improve the education system in Illinois.
