Tips for Choosing a College
4/28/2005

An April 27, 2005 CNN/Money article provides high school students with tips on making a final decision regarding which college to attend. While every student will have a unique approach to the selection process, experts recommend the following guidelines: create a list of prospective colleges during the junior year of high school; identify what characteristics prospective colleges must have before adding any schools to the list; don't let a school's published cost of attendance prevent including it on the list of prospective colleges; and, visit the college's campus at least once before making a final decision. Also included is a listing of the acceptance ratios for the ten most selective colleges, as identified by Thompson-Peterson's.

The article is available at the CNN/Money Web site.
