Students React to New SAT Format
3/14/2005

In a Chicago Sun-Times article dated March 13, 2005, Chicago-area high school students give their opinions on the reformatted SAT exam. For the first time, exams administered across the nation on Saturday (March 12th) included a writing component, where students were given 25 minutes to compose a short essay. In addition to adding the essay, the revised exam also eliminates an analogy section that had been included in earlier exams. Some who took the new version of the test reported finding it difficult, while others did not feel it was overly challenging.

The article is available at the Chicago Sun-Times Web site.
