Families Search for Student Aid
3/1/2005

A February 28, 2005 Pantagraph (Bloomington, Illinois) article reports how members of one family in central Illinois are working together to find financial assistance for their college-bound high school senior. The family uses the Internet to identify scholarships for which the student might qualify, and then the parents provide the financial information while the student writes any necessary essays and completes information about herself. Because funding is often limited, applying early and meeting all deadlines may increase a student's chances of receiving assistance.

The article is available at the Pantagraph Web site.
