An August 28, 2009 press release from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announces that, in conjunction with renewing institutions, School-Based Child Nutrition Programs are being made available through the ISBE Nutrition Programs Division. Included are the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) federally funded National School Lunch Program (NSLP), the School Breakfast Program (SBP), and the Special Milk Program (SMP). The press release includes a link to the list of schools, residential child care institutions, camps and other facilities that are participating school food authorities.
