A June 2, 2009 article from The New York Times reports that, based on recent finds from the National Research Council, women who are engineers and scientists are seeing improved prospects at major research universities. A separate study from researchers at the University of Wisconsin indicates that male and female students no longer have a significant achievement gap in mathematics performance.
