School Administrators Try to Help Students Cope with High Stress Levels
3/23/2009

According to a March 20, 2009 article from U.S. News & World Report, schools across the nation are using various methods of relaxation training to help their students cope with ever-increasing levels of stress. Whether dealing with elementary school students who have anxiety over standardized tests, or high school students fearing they will not be admitted to their college of choice, school administrators are trying several popular methods (such as yoga and tai chi) to calm their students and help them focus. In addition to the stress they are feeling from school-related events, many students are also dealing with anxiety at home as their families are impacted by the current state of the economy.

The article is available at the U.S. News & World Report Web site.
