Now is the Time to Apply for College Financial Aid
1/5/2009

A January 5, 2009 article from The Batavia Sun reminds college-bound students of the importance of filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible.

The 2009-10 FAFSA, used to apply for financial assistance beginning with the fall 2009 term, became available on January 1st.

Financial aid eligibility for the spring 2009 term is determined based on the 2008-09 FAFSA.

By completing the FAFSA, college students may be considered for a variety of programs, including the Federal Pell Grant and the Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP).

The article is available at the Web site of The Batavia Sun.
