Some Students Tempted to Use Internet to Cheat
11/24/2008

A November 20, 2008 article from CBS News reports that some students are using online sites such as YouTube to share instructions on how to cheat in school. According to the article, there are currently over 3,000 videos on YouTube under the category of "How to Cheat." Students may be attracted by the ability to remain anonymous on the Internet, because they are less likely to be immediately reprimanded for their actions. However, a student who was interviewed as part of the article ultimately decided to remove the video he had posted previously, in part because he did not want to have any future consequences (for example, the video being viewed by a potential future employer).

The article is available at the CBS News Web site.
