College Students Play 'Zombie Tag' for Recreation
10/6/2008

According to an October 5, 2008 USA Today article, 'Zombie Tag' has become an increasingly popular form of recreation at colleges across the country. Formally known as Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ), the game consists of two groups: humans (who wear armbands) and zombies (who wear headbands). The zombies seek to turn humans into zombies by tagging them, and the humans try to avoid the zombies so that they can remain human. Games sometimes continue, non-stop, for days. Students indicate that the Internet has played a large role in the game's popularity.

The article is available at the USA Today Web site.
