A July 21, 2008 press release reminds parents and grandparents of infants (12 months of age and younger) that August 1st is the deadline to enroll in
College Illinois!(SM), which is the state's 529 prepaid tuition program. College Illinois! protects families from future tuition inflation by allowing them to lock-in a price now to cover future tuition and fees at colleges nationwide.
The general enrollment period for College Illinois! is scheduled to re-open on October 29, 2008.
