College Students Evaluate the Performance of Their Professors
5/2/2008

According to a May 1, 2008 article from The Associated Press, colleges across the nation are providing students with an opportunity to "turn the tables" by critiquing their professors' overall performance and effectiveness in the classroom. The degree to which students' evaluation of professors is utilized varies by college - some provide results to the student body for use in future class selection, and some factor the information into professors' annual evaluations. In addition to completing evaluations at the end of each term, some students also choose to critique their professors at designated sites on the Internet.

The article is available at the MSNBC Web site.
