Tips for Students on College Wait Lists
4/22/2008

An April 16, 2008 article from U.S. News & World Report provides tips for college-bound students who find themselves on the "wait list" of their top-choice college(s). Among the suggestions offered are having a back-up plan (i.e., sending a deposit and commitment to a college that has made an admission offer), communicating with admissions officers at the college to determine the likelihood of eventually being accepted, and only asking to remain on the wait list at the college(s) the student is still interested in attending.

The article is available at the U.S. News & World Report Web site.
