A study conducted for the Associated Press and mtvU (a college television network) found that most college students are stressed out. Today's coeds cite worries about such everyday things as grades and relationships, but also admit to concerns about not having enough money for spring break and using too much alcohol and drugs, among other issues.
Although the survey found that six in 10 students report that they are usually hopeful and enjoy life, a small percentage said they're seriously depressed and have contemplated dropping out of school. Of larger concern, a certain number also admit to thoughts of suicide.
