1/9/2008

A January 8, 2008 press release from the U.S. Department of Education (ED) reminds college-bound students and their families to apply for financial aid. The 2008-09 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available, and should be completed as early as possible. While other options are available, the benefits to filing online (via FAFSA on the Web) are highlighted. According to the press release, more than 10 million applicants receive some form of federal grant or loan each year.

The press release is available at ED's Web site.
