A September 25, 2007 press release from the American Council on Education (ACE) announces that, following a strong first quarter, the KnowHow2GO campaign has received a $1.4 million grant to help expand during its next phase. Proceeds from the grant will be used to reach more students by strengthening networks at the local, state and regional levels. Low-income and first-generation students (in grades 8 through 10) benefit from the campaign's emphasis on encouraging students to find the assistance they need in order to prepare for college.
