An August 27, 2007 press release announces that the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) are encouraging drivers to use extra caution as over 2 million Illinois students return to school. Over the Labor Day weekend, IDOT will be flashing special reminders on its changeable message boards across the state. The press release includes tips for safe driving when school is in session.
