A July 12, 2007 press release from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announces the selection of 15 new projects in the Illinois Mathematics and Science Partnerships (IMSP) program. Grant money is funded through the federal No Child Left Behind Act. It is estimated that 750 teachers in the state's highest-need districts will benefit from partnerships designed to enhance the quality of instruction and instructional leadership in mathematics and science teaching and learning in K-12 classrooms, as well as improved settings for teachers-to-be. The press release lists the 15 new projects, including the lead partner for each.
