An April 27, 2007 article from The Associated Press reports that, across the nation, teachers and schools are struggling with how to prevent students from using technology to cheat on exams. Most recently, digital media players - such as iPods and Zunes - are being used to load information, which is then retrieved by the student while taking a test. In response, some schools have banned the use of iPods (and other similar devices). Many schools had already banned cell phones because they can be used by students to share answers via text messaging.
