ISAC is dedicated to helping educate students and parents about all aspects of financial aid. To that effort, we devote resources to public outreach activities to help families plan for college. Public awareness and education regarding our programs is our priority as we continue to provide students, counselors, and administrators with the most current information available in the industry.
One of our many goals is to provide you with the most current information regarding a variety of topics. Over the past few months, staff has updated many of our current tools and created more resources to help you deliver the financial aid message. Our comprehensive list of resources includes the following items:
- ISAC representatives available to present at special events;
- publications covering a variety of topics available free of charge for distribution;
- the newly revised Financial Aid for a College Education, which lets you personalize your presentation to meet the needs of your audience;
- updated Dream to Reality PowerPoint presentation that covers early awareness topics;
- College Zone, a complete college planning resource with information for a variety of audiences; and
- the Financial Aid/Admission Awareness Month (FAAM) Committee, which provides services year-round to families, but concentrates its efforts in the month of February when most people are applying for financial aid.
