The FY2009 appropriation for the Illinois Scholars Program, is $2,900,000. ISAC has spending authority for this program, but funding is made available to the Golden Apple Foundation to provide scholarships to students pursuing teaching degrees.
Nominations for the Class of 2009 must be submitted on or before December 1, 2008.
