College Bound Checklist

College

• Meet with your college advisor to review your curriculum and determine your career plans.
• File a FAFSA  after January 1 of each year in college.
• Continue to research different grants, scholarships, work-study programs and loans. Also, continue to save your money and look into different ways to pay for college.
• Work toward internships, co-ops and other college programs that will enhance your résumé and career development.

College Transfer

• Arrange to have your official college transcript, with all of your credits listed, transferred from your current college to the college you will be attending.
• Review college costs and develop a payment plan.
• File a FAFSA after January 1 of each year of college.
• Continue to research different grants, scholarships, work-study programs and loans. Also, continue to save your money and look into different ways to pay for college.

College Returning Adult

• Research  different colleges and majors.
• Contact college(s) for admissions information.
• Review college costs and develop a budget and payment plan.
• File a FAFSA after January 1 of each year of college.
• Continue to research different grants, scholarships, work-study programs and loans. Also, continue to save your money and look into different ways to pay for college.
